  ZF579 IN SAUDI

SAUDI1.jpg (397820 bytes)    08/1970 after 2 years in storage at Jeddah, 53-671 at Dhahran air force base shortly after its work up, with 2SQ 203.

SAUDI2.jpg (350369 bytes)    Also 08/1970 after removal from storage.

SAUDI3.jpg (54032 bytes)    53-671 taxies out with its sister ship at Dhahran airfield Saudi. 

SAUDI4.jpg (31281 bytes)     671 now coded as C with 203SQ c. 1980

     


ZF579 AT WARTON

53-671warton.jpg (102449 bytes)    01/86    53-671, now coded ZF579 in RAF livery, on finals to Warton Aerodrome for storage.

WARTON-1.jpg (164488 bytes)    09/87. Zf579 deteriorating, some 18 months after its gleaming arrival at Warton. Outside storage is taking its toll already.

WARTON-3.jpg (143209 bytes)    early 1988. Tucked up, but now over 2 years in outside storage, Zf579 is still suffering from the effects of  harsh esturine air.
