Public Relations/Fund Raising OfficerGatwick Aviation Museum Ltd is looking for the services of an experienced person to take on the responsibilities of Public Relations and fund raising for the museum. This is a paid post, unlike all of our other personnel who are volunteers. In this position you would be responsible for interfacing with the media and general public plus raising funds for the museums running costs and projects. In this role you will be reporting to the managing director. Ideally this would suit someone who has experience of medium to large scale infrastructure projects. It is desirable that the person appointed had some aviation or museum experience, although this is not essential.
In the next few months we are expecting to start a major new infrastructure project here at the museum. Once planning permission has been granted we will need to focus on both raising the museums profile and obtaining funds to fulfil the project objectives.
